OLIVIA VERMEULEN takes "Hello Darkness" to the Oxford International Song Festival

Together with the pianist Jan Philip Schulze, Olivia Vermeulen will appear at the Oxford International Song Festival shortly before All Saints' Day where she will present her programme "Hello Darkness", an richly multifaceted and entertaining musical arc through the centuries - from Monteverdi and Purcell to Schubert, Kreisler, Randy Newman and Billie Eilish, all revolving in their own way around the great mystery of life and death. The same programme in a slightly modified version can also be heard at the Stadsschouwburg Nijmegen on 9 November.
