Good news from heaven the angels bring,
Glad tidings to the earth they sing:
To us this day a child is given,
To crown us with the joy of heaven.
Praise God upon his heavenly throne,
Who gave to us his only Son:
For this His hosts, on joyful wing,
A blest New Year of mercy sing.
(Martin Luther)
Especially in times of war, political uncertainty and budget cuts in the cultural sector, classical music demonstrates its unique power in providing stability, offering hope, and reminding us of what connects people across borders.
Despite all the uncertainties, we look back on a fulfilling 2025, which we have made resonate together, and we thank you for your trust and appreciation.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year—may all our hopes for peace, health, happiness, and contentment be fulfilled.
Helga Machreich-Unterzaucher and the entire Machreich Artists team
P.S. In order to give a little hope ourselves, we have decided to donate our little Christmas budget again to the organization HANGARMUSIK. The project HANGARMUSIK – Social integration through orchestral music – initiated by Andreas Knapp and viola player Leila Weber, has made it its mission to stabilize children in refugee camps through joint emergency pedagogy and music, healing the children’s emotional wounds and supporting their re-integration into society. Learn more about HANGARMUSIK here.
Our office is closed from December 24th, 2025
