KATRIN WUNDAM at the Bregenz Festival

After Katrin Wundsam impressively demonstrated her bel canto qualities in Saverio Mercadante’s Didone Abbandonata at the Innsbruck Early Music Weeks last summer – a recording of which was recently released by Naxos – this summer she will sing the role of Maddalena in Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto at the Bregenz Festival. His spellbinding masterwork will be performed for the first time on the stage in Lake Constance in Bregenz and will be directed by Philipp Stölzl, who also designed the sets. Enrique Mazzola conducts the performances.
