JULIAN PRÉGARDIEN | seven recitals this February across Europe

Julian Prégardien has a great sensitivity for creating arcs of emotion that touch audiences, while remaining "precise, crystal clear and unsentimental". (FAZ)

After an acclaimed recital with the pianist Akemi Murakami at the Regensburg Theatre, in which the audience was able to select in advance the first half of the programme, consisting of songs by Franz Schubert, Julian Prégardien has since appeared with Daniel Heide, performing Schubert's Winterreise on a historical grand piano from 1826 in Saarbrücken.

Further performances this month take him, together with pianist Eric Le Sage, to London's Wigmore Hall with songs by Schumann and Grieg and to the Philharmonie in Essen with a Schumann / Fauré programme. Finally, he will make guest appearances with Daniel Heide in Rome, Greifswald and at Schloss Ettersburg with Schubert's Winterreise, again in keeping with the season.
