FLORIAN BOESCH makes his debut als Blaubart in Bartok's "Bluebeard's Castle"

Florian Boesch will make his role debut as Duke Bluebeard in Béla Bartók's opera Bluebeard's Castle at the Tyrolean Festival Erl in summer 2025. In the production by Claus Guth and under the musical direction of Martin Rajna, he will meet Christel Loetzsch as Judith. The co-production with the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino promises an intense musical theatre experience. Boesch, known for his expressiveness and depth, will create a dark, multi-layered Bluebeard with his interpretation of Bluebeard in a war of equals: Man and woman struggle passionately to get closer and find a way to each other. The audience can look forward to an emotionally charged evening - also thanks to Barbara Hannigan in Poulenc's La voix humaine.
