Last summer, Austrian mezzo-soprano Patricia Nolz made her debut at the Salzburg Festival as part of the Mozart Matinées. She will return in August 2025 - and will be heard for the first time at the Festival in Mozart's great Mass in C minor K. 427. As Soprano II, she will sing alongside Mélissa Petit, Anthony León and José Coca Loza in the Collegiate Church of St Peter, accompanied by Les Musiciens du Prince - Monaco and the ensemble Il Canto di Orfeo under the direction of Gianluca Capuano. The work is one of Mozart's most important sacred compositions and has been a central part of the Salzburg concert programme for decades. Patricia Nolz has already interpreted this demanding part with great success with the Concentus Musicus under the direction of Stefan Gottfried at the Vienna Musikverein. With her warm, clear voice and stylistic confidence, she is ideally suited to this sacred masterpiece. Her participation in 2025 promises to be another highlight of her young yet highly acclaimed career.
