OLIVIA VERMEULEN Makes her Recital Debut at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw

Coinciding with her recital debut at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw on February 25, the label Challenge Classics will also release Olivia Vermeulen’s first solo album, entitled Dirty Minds, which the Dutch mezzo-soprano and her piano partner Jan Philip Schulze have devoted to the many facets of love and sexuality, as reflected throughout music history – from Purcell and Mozart to Schubert, Weill, Eisler and contemporary composers such as William Bolcom and Jake Heggie.
