NIKOLA HILLLEBRAND | Welcome Nikola Hillebrand for General Management

Having worked together successfully in the lied and oratorio area, we are pleased to take on Nikola Hillebrand’s general management! The young soprano, who recently gave her role debut as Musetta in Puccini’s La Bohème followed by Pamina in Mozart’s Zauberflöte at the Semper Opera Dresden, is praised by reviewers for her stage presence, the radiance of her voice and her richly nuanced interpretations.

During recent months Nikola Hillebrand was noted for her appearances with the Collegium 1704 under Václav Luks and with the Ensemble Pygmalion and Raphaël Pichon. In the role of Gretel in a concert film about Humberdinck's Hänsel & Gretel, as Adele in Strauß’ Fledermaus under Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider in Lyon and in the New Year’s Concert at the Philharmonie in Luxembourg under Fabien Gabel, she brought all her vocal and dramatic qualities to the fore.

Highlights during upcoming months are song recitals in Mannheim and at the Heidelberger Frühling festival, concerts with Mozart works with the Staatskapelle Dresden under Manfred Honeck’s baton, her debut as Baronin Freimann in Lortzing’s Der Wildschütz at the Semper Opera in Dresden, excerpts from Richard Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier in Bordeaux as well as her debut at the Salzburg Festival in Myslivecek’s Abramo et Isacco with the Collegium 1704 under the baton of Václav Luks.
