NIKOLA HILLEBRAND & MICHAEL SCHADE singing New Year's Concerts

Taking the roles of Adele and Gabriel von Eisenstein, Nikola Hillebrand and Michael Schade appear in the traditional end-of-year performances of Die Fledermaus together with the Orchestre national de Lyon.

Nikola Hillebrand and Michael Schade, both at home in many different genres, meet in Lyon at the turn of the year to sing the roles of Adele and Gabriel von Eisenstein – as ever, the two take a mischievous hand in the comedy of errors surrounding Die Rache der Fledermaus.

With music from Franz Lehár’s operetta Das Land des Lächelns and traditional festive flair the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg will ring in the new year in style in its «New Year's Concert» on Jan. 5th 2022. Led by the French conductor Fabien Gabel and featuring two outstanding soloists, soprano Nikola Hillebrand and tenor Michael Schade, the orchestra presents a rousing mix of arias and waltzes written by the genre’s masters – Franz Lehár, Robert Stolz and Johann Strauß. Join us for a glittering party in the land of smiles!
