Beautiful music and beautiful voices are one thing. But is that really what counts in times of war? Ukrainian singer Lena Belkina asked herself the same question - and remembered her Ukrainian roots. For her, music is a glimmer of hope that opposes the "overwhelming pain and hopelessness". This is what she wants to tell about with her new album with a total of twelve songs, some of which have never been recorded before, and three ballads, which have accompanied the artist's life in one way or another and at the same time bring the listener closer to the immense wealth of facets of Ukrainian song in its very own character and melodic duct.
