DAVID STEFFENS as Masetto at the Salzburg Festival

After his debut as Quasimodo in Franz Schmidt's Notre Dame at the St. Gallen Festival at the end of June, David Steffens returns to this year’s Salzburg Festival as Masetto in Romeo Castellucci’s new interpretation of Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Großes Festspielhaus. While Ö1 will broadcast the premiere live on July 26th from 6:00 p.m., the production will be recorded by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation ORF 2 and the French-German ARTE and broadcast simultaneously on August 7th at 10:05 p.m.
