Austrian mezzo-soprano Anja Mittermüller is one of the most promising voices on the young recital scene. With her warm, radiant mezzo-soprano voice she brings out delicate nuances so vividly, that she captivates both audiences and specialists. In autumn 2025 she will present an impressive series of song recitals that showcase her artistic versatility.
On 7 September, she will be performing at the Eppaner Liedsommer, where she will delight audiences with her finely nuanced interpretations of her recital programme. On 13 September, she will take on a completely different role in Vienna: in the ‘First Schubert’ series, she will introduce young children to the world of Franz Schubert's music in a playful way – a project initiated by Julian Prégardien that allows even the youngest listeners to experience the magic of Schubert recitals.
A highlight of her season is the concert on 1 October at the Vienna Konzerthaus, where she will perform in a Schubertiade together with Julian Prégardien and Sir András Schiff. She will be singing the same programme at the Casals Forum on 13 October. This will be followed on 11 October by an evening as part of the :alpenarte Festival in Schwarzenberg, a place with a unique Schubert tradition.
The crowning finale will be Anja Mittermüller's performance on 17 October 2025 at Wigmore Hall in London, where she returns as an acclaimed recital singer following her competition success.
