ADRIAN ERÖD sings Frank/Fritz in "Die Tote Stadt" at the Wiener Staatsoper

After his acclaimed Beckmesser in Tokyo, Adrian Eröd would have been on stage at the Semperoper Dresden at the beginning of this year alongside Camilla Nylund and Klaus Florian Vogt as Frank/Fritz in Erich Korngold's Die tote Stadt, which, like so many things, fell victim to another wave of cancellations due to the pandemic. The Austrian baritone can now be heard in the same role at the Wiener Staatsoper, this time in a revival of Willy Decker's 2004 production and with Thomas Guggeis conducting.
